Trinity Garcia is from Houston, Texas, and is currently studying at Texas State University for her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. She is a performer who started out as an All-Star Cheerleader for 12 years, training at one of that nation’s top gyms. At age 14, Trinity became very interested in theatre and dance through her high school. From there, she jumped headfirst into becoming the best she could at those two things, auditioning and being in shows and starting dance at The PAC in Spring, TX. She trains in all forms of dance and has fallen in love with the art of performing and storytelling through dance and musical theatre. Through her time in high school, Trinity had many opportunities to choreograph, create, and perform through Klein Drama and Klein Dance Company. She was selected as 1 of only 30 students in Texas to be part of the prestigious Texas Thespians All-State Cast in 2021, where she had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Broadway performers Barry Busby and Leslie Flesner-Cruz in the Broadway Imagined program. In 2023, Trinity had the amazing opportunity to work with Theatre Under the Stars in Houston, under the guidance of industry professionals such as Laura Peete. Now at Texas State, Trinity continues to refine her craft, working alongside talented peers and mentors in a variety of dance styles such as ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, improvisation, tap, and musical theatre. TXST Dance has allowed her to learn and create with a number of professors and guest artists including: Ana Baer, Megan Moss, Torens Johnson, Lynzy Lab, Amanda McCorkle, Michelle Nance, Acia Gray, Julio Catano-Yee, Rosely Conz, Alexus Galeana, and Ashley Kwasna. Trinity was also selected by Artist Director Ana Baer to be a part of Texas States pre-professional dance company Merge for the 2024-25 school year. Trinity has gained so many valuable experiences in both the classroom and on stage. She is super dedicated to her art and is excited to continue growing as both a performer and choreographer, and looks forward to the many opportunities that the future holds.
